"Webley Government Target Model" English made large frame top-break double action revolver chambered for .450 & .455 British cartridges. Features a blued finish, 7.5" slab sided barrel with “R. B. RODDA & Co LONDON & 2 WELLESLEY PLACE CALCUTTA” retailer marking on the sighting rib, blade front sight (blade appears replaced in base), drift adjustable 'u' notched rear sight, fluted six-shot cylinder (appears uncut), automatic extractor, wide knurled trigger, knurled hammer spur, square butt frame with lanyard ring and two-piece finely checkered walnut grips. Serial numbers on the frame and barrel are matching. Bore is very good condition. Retains 70% bright high polish blue with numerous dings & scrapes, edge losses, color change to brown on grip straps and on much of barrel. Grips are serviceable fair condition with small gouges, chip missing from left panel toe, smoothing of checkering. The action is smooth with tight lock-up.
